Joyride.

Today was a bad ass sunday.... met a friend of mine and we had a real good ride the whole day. Then we had some fun at a industrial area...

Yes it's done. I bought three new very nice bikes for my wrenchbarn. It is a 450 K1 from '72  made up with a lot of nice chrome elements, like a chrome fueltank, chrome forks, chrome stand, and a chrome lever !
She is workin' and in very good conditions! Then there is a small 250 K1, also workin', in a nice green varnish. I think she is almost original by now. I won't do great changes. The last one is a Honda CB 500 T from the 70's with a not original painted, not good looking tank but i will change that by time. It is going to become a cafe racer with a low seat and big wheels.

i don't like...

... i spent the night searchin some parts for my bike in the world wide shit. And then i saw a lot of "kind of wannabe cafe racer bikes" and i thought.... why do all these people think, that just adding some "CR Parts" make their bikes a good looking one?

I don't wanna attack someone but... guys, come on... some smaller blinkers and another handlebar and maybe just any kind of a cafe seat make your bike look good or even a cafe racer. It's not about adding shit together.


It is not about the brand, it is about the right composition. Not even the expensive way.

The aspiration is not to make it look a like.... the aspiration is to make it look good... make it look ... produced like that... fitting... harmonic ... in shape. 










I can only speak for myself .... that is my aspiration.

When i am too lazy to get some work done in my garage, i find peace in saving ideas on a piece of paper ... not always beautiful .... but useful...

# Carborator Repair #

The carborator gets new seals and new jets.

Strip the scrat .... !

In the last days, i began with the stripping of that old lady.... next subject is to remove the engine and get new  seals inside. Also the carburator will get new seal and some new jets.

For the Honda, i still wait for the new MAC Exhaust, new mirrow, another triple clamp and front brake levers. After these parts are installed, i will call her finished..... i think ...
